These Johnson Level BIG J™ Aluminum Levels feature an oversized solid aluminum frame, easy-read 1/2" diameter vials, and rubberized cushioned hand grips. The BIG J™ Aluminum Levels also contain Quik-Change® replacable cover plates and vials, and oversized anti-slip/anti-shock end caps to protect the frame. These levels come in three sizes, 24", 48", and 72".

The Johnson Level 1500 Series are the industries most durable I-Beam aluminum levels. These levels are also known as the Big J series. Everything about these levels is more robust than anything in the marketplace today. The frame of this level is about 30 percent larger than any other I-Beam frame. Both of the working edges of this level are machined to assure maximum accuracy. End caps are installed that are very robust and designed to absorb impact if the tool is accidentally dropped. The vials on this level are durable acrylic vials that read plumb, level and plumb and they are a half inch in diameter. Also included in these levels are white vial surrounds that reflect ambient light, a top read window for leveling applications, and molded hand grips.
